1933; witnessing S.F. police shooting workers during 1934 strike, being arrested for own union activity in 1934, meeting Henry
Schmidt, Local 10 pioneer, and Harry Lundeberg, SUP leader; SUP schooner sailor, World War II; and Relief Business Agent,
Local 10, ILWU, 1960.
